If there is one financial juggernaut that embraced Bitcoin early, it’s Fidelity. The US asset manager has been exploring opportunities since 2015 and is even mining Bitcoin. Recently, Fidelity added Bitcoin as an investable option to their 401k pension plans.
For this episode of the Fix the Money podcast, I sit down with Chris Tyrer. He is the head of Fidelity Digital Assets in Europe. We talk about the history of Fidelity’s involvement with Bitcoin, how it all started - and where he sees Bitcoin’s role going forward.
